PRODUCT CONTENT-
Although I make every effort to produce high-quality products that are safe for your body & the environment, natural products that contain microdermabrasion ingredients could be harsh to your skin if not used properly. Please follow all instructions that come with the product. I am not responsible for the way you use my products. It is up to the buyers' discretion to maintain proper care & use. I do not guarantee my products will provide a particular experience, since everybody's body chemistry is different.

CAFFEINE CONTENT-
While using caffeinated products has been shown to be perfectly safe and beneficial for the skin, it is important to know that your body will absorb the product's caffeine content. The longer you leave the product on, the more caffeine your body will absorb. However, the skin does a pretty good job of keeping things out. Some studies have shown that a cosmetic alone will not get much caffeine into your system. According to several studies, a completely covered body would take at least 2 hours to absorb as much caffeine as a weak cup of coffee, so using our products shouldn't be an issue. These findings are not significant but I thought I would add a warning in case some of my buyers are highly sensitive to caffeine. If you are sensitive to caffeine, you may want to consider using my products as a morning routine instead of using them at night.

OIL SAFETY WARNING
My products contain coffee oil. I call it ©Juvtree Silk Oil. It is important to note that if the product is not rubbed in well it could potentially stain skin. It also has the potential to stain sinks, countertops, washcloths, or clothing. To ensure proper application and use, we kindly advise you to read all instructions that come with the product and to take precautions.​

Flammability / Combustibility Warning
Clothes stained with the oils in my products or other ingredients purchased on this site may be flammable and washing may not remove all residues. The CPSC recommends washing fabric material saturated with any substance found on this site more than once and then hanging to dry to avoid spontaneous combustion in a dryer. I am not responsible for fires caused by the use of my products! The manufacturer of the Essential Oils I use in my products has this warning on their website, so I want to make you aware of their warning, I am not sure if the organic essential oils I use needs this warning but it is being posted so you can be aware- WARNING: These products can expose you to chemicals including myrcene, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information, go to (www.P65Warnings.ca.gov). This warning is commonly added to most websites that sell essential oil products. Please be aware that my products do contain essential oils.

SPECIAL ORDERS
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in my products, please make a special order request by sending an email so that I can leave that ingredient out of your order. I will substitute the ingredient you're allergic to for something else, if possible. This is my way of saying thank you for your support. Together, our protest against unhealthy ingredients being added to manufactured products can make a difference.

DO NOT EAT
Warnings: For external use only. Do not ingest, this is not food. Avoid exposure to eyes or mucus areas such as mouth or nose. If any of our products come in contact with the opening of your eyes, flush immediately and then use eye drops. See a doctor is irritation persists and please let us know if you have an allergic reaction to any of our products.

Always consult with a medical professional before incorporating any new skincare routine and before using new herbal or supplement type of cosmetics, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are pregnant or nursing. Always do a patch test before applying an herbal or essential oil remedy or any of these products to your skin to check for any allergic reactions. The consumer is responsible for their healthcare and for using these products responsibly.

SEPARATION OF INGREDIENTS IS A NATURAL OCCURANCE. FOR BEST RESULTS, USE THE SPATULA WE SEND TO STIR THE PRODUCT AT EACH USE. DO NOT CONTAMINATE PRODUCTS WITH SHOWER WATER.

I recommend that you use these products as soon as you get them. Immediate use ensures your product does not age out. In a sealed jar, most of my products should last at least 3 months, and some will last for up to a year (please see ingredient card that comes with each product to see when the product was made). Due to the handcrafted nature of all of my products, what temperature you keep the product stored in, how often you open them, & whether or not you use them in the shower, shelf-life time can vary. I take all precautions to ensure you receive a clean product with healthy ingredients. If you notice any mold or foul smells, this means you have probably contaminated the product with bacteria and need to throw it away.
HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTS DO NOT HAVE THE LONG SHELF LIFE THAT MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS HAVE. USE ALL PRODUCTS IMMEDIATELY.
